The village of Tilbe lies on the west bank of the river, a short distance south of the bridge carrying the main road eastwards from the provincial capital Adıyaman. The bridge, built in the 1970s, crosses at Tille, seen here in the distance, a small village built into the side of an ancient mound. Beyond Tille, the village of Kerselah.
